FRIDAY – Clinical and Peri-implant Section
Periodontal treatment planning – therapeutic goals. Management of the periodontal patient – from initial consultation to complete resolution. Roncati Vertical Stroke technique – practical aspects and ergonomics. Scaling vs. laser root surface debridement – differences and clinical relevance.
Diode laser in non-surgical therapy: indications and limitations. Overview of different laser wavelengths in periodontal treatment. Safety protocols and operating parameters for diode lasers.
Laser-assisted management of recurrent periodontitis cases. Practice of the Roncati Vertical Stroke technique. Laser root surface debridement – the “Porsche” of periodontology.
SATURDAY – Advanced Laser Techniques and Clinical Practice
Non-surgical peri-implantitis therapy – definition, risk factors, and prevention. Implant surface decontamination protocols. Differences between periodontal diseases and peri-implant tissue inflammation.
Application of diode and erbium lasers in the treatment of mucosal lesions. Management of hypersensitivity, aphthae, herpes simplex, and angular cheilitis. Safety principles and parameter selection for different indications.
Follow-up visit protocols and supportive therapy. Management strategies in cases of loss of clinical stability.
